Pumpkin Spice Lattes are back so we took a family trip to Starbucks and then went for an evening drive along the PCH with the windows down and the cool ocean breeze blowing through the car.

Emily received some hand-me-down 'treasures' from the DeYoungs this week.

Her new goody bag was full of princess items including this camera, which she LOVES.

"Say Cheese! You're as pretty as a princess!"

Grandpa & Grandma, aka "Hampa & Hamma Sasha" came for the weekend!

It was great to see them, plus they brought yummy Brueggers' Bagels and other fun gifts :)

We went for a walk on Saturday morning all dressed in our IOWA gear... I'm sure we were quite the sight in our Long Beach neighborhood! Go Hawks!

The aftermath of many castles and towers built (...& destroyed).

Also, Hampa built her a 'camera' (the pink, white & blue square on the right) that she loved.
