March Week 3

::March 14 :: March 20::
2010

Emily has SO much fun with her uncles :)
She is such a fun-loving girl!

Grandma Cathy joined in the fun, too!
Emily wore out her Uncle David!
Grandpa, Grandma & Uncle David went to Phoenix for some Dodger Spring Training (Monday-Saturday but we had fun at home just the three of us.)
Emily wearing the beautiful sweater Grandma Cindy made for her.
A beautiful sweater on a beautiful girl :)
Nothing says 'Happy St. Patty's Day!' like a good green Irish lager.
Emily was happy to "help" me make some cards with my Cricut.

On Friday night we celebrated our friend Dan's 30th birthday.
Pete's the next one to turn 30. . .
(we are getting OLD!!)
Baby Isaac wished Dan a happy birthday, too!
Saturday morning we went for a long, lazy walk in Long Beach.
The marine layer was thick, but it was still gorgeous outside!
Welcome, Spring!

Can anyone tell me what this flowering bush is??????????????????
We saw it outside several homes and I think it's stunning!
The marine layer was so thick, you can hardly tell that the ocean is only 300 yards or so beyond that rail. . .
See you next week!!

March Week 1

February 28th :: March 6th

YIPEE!!
We are finally healthy :)

I thought these flowers were dead, so I was pleasantly surprised to see this in the back yard.

Today was the Fine Arts Festival at the Crystal Cathedral.
It was a busy, but good day after all was said and done.
My students played well and it's always nice to see their families come to support them.
As great as the festival was, the best part of my day was coming home to her :) (and Pete, too!)

My awesome hubby :)

It's still chilly, but spring is definitely on its way. . .

The Hydeens came to visit on Wednesday and we had fun hanging out around home Wednesday night. It's still fairly cold here, but I think they were just happy to not see snow!

Their older kids were quite excited to meet Minnie :)
(I love their facial expressions)

Fun times at Disneyland :)

The Hydeen Family after the fireworks

See you next week!

February Week 4

February 21st-February 27th
2010

Em asked me to dance while I was cleaning the kitchen.
She sang "I know you, I walked with you once upon a dream...",
which sounded like:
"I no you I wa-wa you wa-wa waaa-wa tree"

How can you resist this much cuteness?
I guess the dishes will have to wait. :)

We're getting better... but still taking our fair share of this stuff.

I look awful, but have to include this photo because my Project Life kit came!
This photo makes me laugh...
Can you guess where we are?
...

...

...

You probably didn't guess, Disneyland, huh?
The "Happiest Place On Earth" with all sorts of stuff to see and our daughter is most fascinated by the hand sanitizer stuff :)
I took this one (bad) photo and then my camera battery died.
Oh well, there will be many other trips to "Mickey's House" to document with beautiful photos :)

Checking facebook to see if our friends had their baby yet.
Kaeley Grace was born Friday night!

Emily {hearts} her Uncle Mike!
{we do too...}
{but we leave the kisses for Emily}
{And we LOVE that he lives so close by!}
