Emily had so many gifts to open, and she wanted to play with each right after opening it so we decided why rush her? It seems to me that the lesson in rushing her would have been 'get more. want more. don't appreciate what you have.' hm. that doesn't sound at all like what we want to teach her. so... we saved some gifts to open later. :)
Tonight we opened "Elefun" from Grandpa Cary and Grandma Cathy and it was a big hit! Em calls it "fwies" as in the butterflies that shoot out of the elephant's trunk. Thanks Grandpa & Grandma!
