March Week 5

March 28th-April 3rd.
Peter turned 30 this week on March 30th. Happy Birthday, babe!!!

For his birthday, I'm taking him to LONDON next week!!

I also surprised him with a few things this week.

On Sunday, our friends Fabio, Matt & Sandy came down for dinner, birthday cake, and a game of wiffle ball at the park.

Emily sang "Happy Birthday" to her daddy :)
It was priceless.

Matt, Pete and Fabio ;)
Fabio missed the message that they were supposed to look normal for this photo...
... but it cracks me up!
Monday...

Ahh-choo!!

Good Friday.
We sort of celebrated Easter (the Easter egg decorating/egg hunting/Easter basket aspect of it) at home on Saturday since Pete will be playing for a church on Sunday and we have to leave in the afternoon. It wasn't ideal, but it worked.

March Week 3

::March 14 :: March 20::
2010

Emily has SO much fun with her uncles :)
She is such a fun-loving girl!

Grandma Cathy joined in the fun, too!
Emily wore out her Uncle David!
Grandpa, Grandma & Uncle David went to Phoenix for some Dodger Spring Training (Monday-Saturday but we had fun at home just the three of us.)
Emily wearing the beautiful sweater Grandma Cindy made for her.
A beautiful sweater on a beautiful girl :)
Nothing says 'Happy St. Patty's Day!' like a good green Irish lager.
Emily was happy to "help" me make some cards with my Cricut.

On Friday night we celebrated our friend Dan's 30th birthday.
Pete's the next one to turn 30. . .
(we are getting OLD!!)
Baby Isaac wished Dan a happy birthday, too!
Saturday morning we went for a long, lazy walk in Long Beach.
The marine layer was thick, but it was still gorgeous outside!
Welcome, Spring!

Can anyone tell me what this flowering bush is??????????????????
We saw it outside several homes and I think it's stunning!
The marine layer was so thick, you can hardly tell that the ocean is only 300 yards or so beyond that rail. . .
See you next week!!
