"...these are a few of my favorite things..."

I don't remember which day exactly (it's July now that I'm finally writing this), but I went with Lenee to see Biola Youth Theater's production of "The Sound of Music".  It was a nice production and we had a good evening.  

These are a couple of my favorite things recently: our collection of (mostly) Disney movies that we watch some nights with Emily snuggled in my lap, and our new car and the future road trips we'll take with it.  :)

I spent the day at school cleaning up my classrooms.  Now I need to clean up our house and box up some of Em's old toys.  I have lots of summer projects to start on, and I can hardly wait to have time to work on them!!

 Countdown to Summer Vacation:

 0 classes to teach, 

1/2 day of school to attend, 

1 8th grade graduation, 

2 classrooms to clean and check out of, 

3 classes to finish grading, and 

9 basses, 24 celli, 14 violas, and 38 violins to check and repair...

I actually didn't take a single photo this week because I'm busy wrapping up stuff at school.  Today I spent a few hours finishing up my elementary grades, but I'm glad to have that done!

Today was Disneyland day with the middle school.  Tonight I had a BOPA meeting.  Time to wrap up the school year, say goodbye to the kiddos and focus on life at home.

yum. pete asked for chocolate cupcakes, i happily complied :) then enjoyed a cupcake while sorting photos and uploading them to this website.
