"BABY!!"  :)   (...no, we're not pregnant...it's emily's doll)
Pete was working at Disneyland today so we had some girl time.  I brought out her first doll (which had been given to her back in October for her birthday, but we saved it for when she was a bit older) and she LOVED it!  All day, baby came with her.  She put baby to bed, gave baby a blanket, fed baby, sang songs to baby, tried to put a diaper on baby, read stories in her story time chair, and showered baby in love with hugs and kisses.  I took over 100 pictures, but here are a few of my favorites.  Enjoy!

Last Friday of the School Year!!!
It's almost SUMMER!
To celebrate, we took Em to see "UP!" and it was fantastic--the best movie I've seen in a long time!  Emily was a perfect angel too, and had her first taste of movie popcorn :)
When we came home, we found they were filming the HBO show "Dexter" in our neighborhood.  It made for a fun night!

"Shoes!"
"Mama, Shoes!"
"No Mama!"
"Emimie shoes!"
"Shoes!"

Our silly little girl thought this was hilarious!  Okay... so did I :)

Concerts are done for the year.  What a relief!
This school year is quickly coming to an end and I'm looking forward to summer days at home with my family, and lots more of these sweet hugs!

Pete and I both had gigs of sorts tonight:
He played a rehearsal with the Golden Pops Orchestra.
I conducted a Middle School Choir Concert.
It made for a long, but good night.

This afternoon though, Pete snapped photos like these and sent them to me on my phone--
Emily was putting her shoes onto her bunny so they're both ready to go play outside!

Constantly, curiously exploring her world.  It's not in this photo, but she was sitting in the backyard patiently examining a blade of grass.  (I love this photo...she's growing into such a pretty little girl with those eyelashes, cheeks, lips and wisps of hair in her face.)

It has been a busy week and I have yet another concert next week, plus all the end of year parties, grades, etc; so it was nice to really enjoy a Sabbath day at home :)
